Background

Derek R. Hower is a Senior Engineer at Qualcomm and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Duke University. His research interests include heterogeneous computer architecture design, large-scale shared memory design, and memory consistency models for emerging systems.

Derek is originally from Sandusky, Ohio and still returns from time to time. He currently lives in Durham, North Carolina.
